How to add goods or services to your booking

Additional goods, services, or taxes allow you to easily add extra charges to an existing booking.

1. Open booking Services & Taxes section

First, open the booking where you want to add an extra service.

Click New
Select Services & Taxes

This opens the Services & Taxes window where all additional booking charges are managed.

2. Open Add service window

If no services exist yet, you will see "No records found".

Click Add

3. Create goods or service (important setup)

Before adding services to bookings, they must exist in system settings.

Go to: Settings → Goods, services or taxes

Here you can create reusable services like:

  • Breakfast
  • Cleaning fee
  • City tax
  • Extra bed
  • Parking
  • Late check-out
  • Custom service

Once created, these services become selectable in bookings.

4. Fill service information

After clicking Add, complete the service form.

Fields explanation

  • Check-in – Check-out – Defines when the service applies.
    • Entire stay• Single day charge• Specific service date
  • Service – Select the previously created service from dropdown list.

    👉 If the list is empty, create services first in Settings → Goods, services or taxes.

  • Price – Enter service price.

    • Leave blank → system keeps default service price

    • Enter value → overrides default price for this booking only

  • Comment – Optional internal or invoice note.
  • Tax – Optional tax override.

    Leave empty if tax already configured globally or no tax change required.

5. Save service

Click Save. The service will immediately:

  • Appear in booking Services & Taxes list
  • Update booking balance
  • Be included in invoice/accounting calculations
  • Affect total booking price
5. Save service complete!

6. Verify added service

After saving, you will see:

Service name
Timestamp
Price
Included status

You can later edit, remove, or add multiple services to the same booking.

Breakfast or meals
Cleaning fees
Pet fee
Extra guests
Damage deposit
Late check-out
Manual corrections

Important notes

  • Services do not change room availability
  • Multiple services can be added
  • Prices can differ per booking
  • Safe for manual OTA adjustments
  • Fully compatible with invoicing module
